Nine brand new villagers and seven returning villagers were revealed as part of the Animal Crossing Amiibo Card Series 5 announcement, which took place during the Animal Crossing Direct on October 15, 2021. The Roost is located in the museum, and although gyroids are returning the game, it's not clear if Brewster will store them as he did in previous versions of Animal Crossing. In New Horizons you'll be able to invite villagers and NPCs using the amiibo Call Center, enjoy a cup of coffee solo and visit with NPCs and villagers like Isabelle when they visit the cafe, too-which will be open 24/7. Brewster is a non-playable pigeon character first introduced in Animal Crossing: Wild World. The 2.0 update brings back Brewster's Cafe, also known as The Roost.
